Offering multiple membership tiers with different prices and perks helps maximize your revenue potential.
Pro tip: Start with at least 2 tiers—make your basic tier include 5-10 messages monthly, and your premium tier include unlimited messaging!
Setting Up a New Membership
- Go to Creator Tools 👉 Manage Membership 👉 "+Create Membership"
- Choose a template or start from scratch by selecting "No template"
- Customize your membership details:
- Title & Media: Add an eye-catching name and covert art (photo, GIF, or video)
- Billing Type: Choose monthly subscription or one-time lifetime purchase
- Free Messages: Set how many free messages subscribers get each month (resets monthly)
- Subscriber Limit: Usually best to select "unlimited" so all fans can join
- Description: List the perks clearly and accurately—avoid overpromising to prevent chargebacks
- Click Save
Managing Visibility
- Live: Membership appears on your profile for fans to see and purchase
- Hidden: Membership exists but isn't visible to fans (useful for special offers)
Important: Always pin your memberships so they display in your profile sidebar—this ensures fans immediately see what's available!
Advanced Management
Use "More Options" on any membership to:
- Edit details and pricing
- Create membership-specific welcome messages
- View subscriber lists
- Gift free trials to specific fans
- Manage tier-exclusive content
